Course Goal / Objective
Introduction of disease-causing factors in plants. Learning about the protection and control methods of plant diseases. Students learn mean of pest insects, identifications of them from other organism. In this course, knowledge about the economically important order and family of arthropods and their control tactics are also being thought.
Course Content
This course introduce the symptoms and signs, pathogen biology, disease cycle, epidemiology, disease management, and scientific, economic and social significance of major plant diseases. Students will learn insects classification and differences with close groups, morphology of insects, agricultural control and management of insects.
