Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is understanding importance and the place movements of Yedi Meşale, Garip, socialist realist poetry and II. Yeni ın the line development of Turkish poetry

Course Content

The content of this course is the Turkish poetry movements in Republic period, the position and importance of Yedi Meşale, Garip, the reasons for the emergence of the movement, its history, its founders; principles of Garip movement, features ofGarip movement, analysis of Garip poetry samples, socialist Realistic poetry and İkinci Yeni in progressing Turkish poetry.
