Course Goal / Objective
In this course, through the contribution of the video as a means of production, media, identity, memory, body and image relation will be discussed in the contemporary art context. The aim of the course is not only to discover the creation, presentation and resolution processes of moving images in today's video applications, but also to rethink the photographic aspect over time.
Course Content
With different forms of art, video-art relation and video art practices will be studied and applied with examples in historical, technical, theoretical and intellectual perspectives. While performing the project within the scope of the course, the student will be able to combine his / her field with other branches of art and develop himself / herself in advanced arts where he / she will be able to handle artistic work from conceptual, theoretical and aesthetic perspectives.
