Course Goal / Objective

The objective of this course is to introduce students the main discussions and conceptual and theoretical approcaches to international security and to help them question and discuss the historical and current developments in terrorism.

Course Content

Even though wars and conflitcs have been part of politics, the concept of security has constantly been evolving. This seminer starts with the examination of the main conceptual and theoretical approaches to international security and moves onto a specific issue of terrorism. We focus on the reasons, methods, historical evolution and kinds of terrorism in a comparative way.
