Course Goal / Objective
To give information about the biology of freshwater lobster (crayfish) and marine lobsters (clawed and spiny) with high commercial value
Course Content
The biology (morphology, anatomy, reproduction, nutrition, shell replacement and growth) of the crayfish and economically important lobsters (spiny and homarids) will be given comparatively. Also culture practices of broodstocks, larvae, juvenile and adult forms will be explained.
