Course Goal / Objective
Graduate students are taught how to prepare a scientific seminar, how to use computer software and how to make presentations about the subject.
Course Content
Benefits from evidence based nursing care in nursing applications, Utilises new nursing approaches in solving the problems of healthy and ill individuals, Uses the basic information learned in different diciplinaries and in the own field in application field and evaluates the service provided, Reflects the results obtained from the research into nursing applications, Can communicate and cooperate between diciplinaries, Critically evaluates nursing applications, Develops a positive attitude towards ethical principles in academic researches and publications, Gives education and counselling services in mainatining and improving health of individuals, Can produce new ideas in improving care in nursing services, Gains educational knowledge in making presentations appropriate to learning and teaching strategies, Can explain statistics and research methodology in a sufficient level in order to make academic research in the nursing field, Explains and defends human and patient rights, Has knowledge on ethical codes of nursing and reflects these in nursing applications, Addresses the problems of healthy and ill individuals with a holistic approach, Can discuss the terms of specialised field and professional nursing terms by associating them, Can identify the problems regarding nursing and makes research on the solutions, Can make observations in hospitals and at home in maintaining and improving health according to nursing care principles, Applies problem solving approach in nursing applications, Can reach and evaluate national and international literature.
