The aim of this course is to gain students the skill to examine and question macro and micro level dynamics involved in human interaction ; and thus consider

Course Content

Based on the findings of recent research,it is suggested that human communication is basically shaped via social factors involved during one-to-one human interaction. In this line this course will deal with issues such as Dialects, Regional languages, Gender and language use, Assymmetrical Talk , politeness theory,Bilingualism, multi lingualism, power assymmetriesetc.
