Course Goal / Objective
Aim of this lecture, to learn the importance of the feeds for animals, feed processing techniques and the effects of them on feed quality, the structural and functional properties of machinery and equipments used feed preparation.
Course Content
The importance of the feeds for animals, the general properties of feed preparation plants, the feed processing techniques and the effects of them on the feed quality, the structural and functional properties of the machinery and equipments used feed plants (Cleaning and drying systems, silos,weighers, comminution machines, mixers, pelleting and conveyors).
