Course Goal / Objective
Explain the Biological features of algae, cell structures of algae, nutrient requirements, photosynthesis and respiration; reproduction types. Describes the cultures of algae growth and makes the definition of growth. Know the effects of environmental factors on the cell physiology, stres factors, changes in cell metabolism due to stress conditions.

Biological features of algae, cell structures of prokaryotic and eukaryotic microalgae, nutrient requirements, photosynthesis and respiration; reproduction types and growth of algae. The effects of environmental factors on the cell physiology, stres factors, changes in cell metabolism due to stress conditions.
