Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to be informed about the unit stock concept, materials and material sampling in population dynamical studies, reproduction and recruitment, fisheries theory, optimum fisheries, overfishing theory, growth, selectivity, mortalities, and application these parameters on fishery regulation.

Course Content

Unit stock and its definition, materials which is used for the population dynamic studies and material sampling, reproduction and recruitment, fisheries and life span of a fish, fisheries theory, optimum fisheries, overfishing theory, growth and selectivity, mortalities, yield per recruit model (YPR) and application on fish stocks.
