Course Goal / Objective

The purpose of this course is to enable the students to reach the level to comprehend the emergence of pschology of religion, the process of its becoming independent as a scientific discipline, its development and current status..

Course Content

The course covers the subjects such as history of Psychology studies, development of Modern Psychology, the emergence of Psychology of Religion as a science, the developments in Europe and America, the first studies in the field, the first psychologists who have a reputation for the Psychology of Religion studies, The Psychology of Religion in Turkey and its historical development.
