Course Goal / Objective

It is aimed that the participants will have knowledge about significant journalist families and journalists during periodic motion of journalism, in the press-power relationship and during the process in which press evolved into media in Turkey.

Course Content

Journalism and Journalist Identity , since the emergence of the journalism in Turkey , will be thought in terms of significant journalists and in the context of political, economic and socio-cultural circumstances.

LO04 The participants will gain ability to discuss on the journalist and the terms of journalism, duties and responsibilities of the journalist, and rights of the journalist.
LO05 The participants will understand the press-power relationships and the evolving of the press
LO06 The participants will gain ability to evaluate the journalist Identity at the point reached today.
