Course Goal / Objective
Students have knowledge about basic concepts of Pharmaceutical Technology course. Know basic pharmaceutical calculations, processess and techniques used in Pharmaceutical Technology.
Course Content
Basic information about Pharmaceutical Technology Introduction, definition, history, pharmacopoeia and publications, pharmaceutical metrics and units, prescription information and dose calculations, liquid form drug delivery systems, aerosols, emulsion and suspension systems, water for pharmaceutical purposes, extraction and control, extraction technology and extraction, pharmaceutical preparations, dressing materials and surgical materials, drug containers, packaging materials, packaging types, classification of packaging, packaging examples according to packaging materials and controls.
