Course Goal / Objective

This course introduces the concepts of art and aesthetics, aesthetic subjects, objects, values and gives information about judgment. It also relates the diversity of aesthetic thinking to its historical context.

Course Content

This course includes information on the definition of aesthetics, aesthetic subject, object, value and judgment. It also covers the views of important philosophers in the history of aesthetics and the relationship of aesthetics with other disciplines.
