Course Goal / Objective
International norms and periods of art music with outstanding examples of structural features to be introduced. Consideration of different music samples. Turkish music, art and western music by comparing students to contribute to the intellectual.
Course Content
Tracking, analyzing and recognizing other musical genres (jazz, blues, tango, pop-jazz, symphonic rock etc.) that are common in the world. Studying the process of our national music in world norms, the problems of composing and examining the sample works in this subject. Contributing to intellectual accumulation by comparing Turkish music with western music.
