Course Goal / Objective
Define the natural and geologic hazards and to know their environmental effects and also to understand of the enviromental geochemistry
Course Content
Principles and description of environmental geology. Geological environment-man interactions. Natural hazards and environmental effects. Pollution types. Environmental effects of solid and liquid waste and site selection for landfill. Importance of geology in protection of environment.
