Course Goal / Objective
The goal of the course is to present the place of the Arabian peninsula in prehistory, with emphasis on its relations with prehistoric cultures of the Near East and northeast Africa.
Course Content
Geography of Arabia and its palaeoenvironments; Palaeolithic cultures of Arabia and their connections to Africa and southwest Asia; the beginnings of food production, and the development of settled life in Arabia
