Course Goal / Objective

Making biochemical analysis and testing to gain competency

Course Content

Introduction to Biochemistry, Elemental composition of the human body; Biochemical significance of cells and cellular organelles; Water and electrolytes, carbohydrates, lipids, amino acids, proteins, enzymes, vitamins, nucleic acid structures, properties, and biological functions. Carbohydrates; lipids, amino acids, metabolism of nucleic acids and proteins.
