Course Goal / Objective

Gets general information about ecology, natural resources and environment, understands the relationships between economic systems and natural resources and the sustainability of natural resources and environment. Comprehends the policy tools developed to solve these problems.

Course Content

Natural resources in the world and in Turkey as land, water and minerals; economics of land, water and mining use; environment and sustainable development; economic and financial instruments used to protect the environment and natural resources; environmental policies; EIA applications, content and problems.
