Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach students about crisis, kinds of crisis, the effects of crisis, responses to crisis, psychological first aid and counseling with people affected by crisis, the roles and responsibilities of school crisis team especially the roles and responsibilities of school counselors.

Course Content

Definition of crisis, kinds of crisis, the effects of crisis, crisis that affect students at school, school crisis team, the roles and responsibilities of school crisis team, the roles and responsibilities of school counselors, psychological first aid and counseling with people affected by crisis traumatically, psychological interventions for people with traumatic loss.
