Course Goal / Objective

This course explores the meaning of art and artwork by explaining the concepts of art and aesthetics. Evaluates the works of art in terms of form, content and essence. Explains the art theories (reflector, narrator, formalist, functional, etc.) and creates different value areas.

Course Content

This course includes the concepts of art and aesthetics and the relations of art philosophy with other disciplines (aesthetics, art criticism, art history, art sociology, art psychology, etc.). Explain the theories of art, the origin and function of art and relate the definition of art. It also covers common ideas that apply to contemporary art.
