Course Goal / Objective
Children's paintings are an emotional, naive communication and expression tool because they are interesting, easy and simple means of expression. In this respect, it is important in terms of recognizing and understanding children who have limited vocabulary and ability to express themselves. Especially, it is aimed to have the ability of pre-school and classroom teacher candidates to analyze, categorize and interpret children's pictures in the process from the scribble phase to the pre-diagram phase.
Course Content
Child and painting as a means of communication in the historical process, the linear development stages of the child, knowledge and practices on visual communication and visual perception development of the child, speeches on children's pictures, examination of children's paintings as a means of expression.
