Information
Course Goal / Objective
To create awareness in order to prevent crop storage losses by preserving quality based on the importance of agricultural product storage.
Course Content
Expectations from stored agricultural products in terms of food safety and quality, changes in product quality during storage -crop moisture content and temperature, self-heating, changes in storage atmosphere - air temperature and relative humidity, information technologies used in the monitoring, determination and prevention of deterioration or heating in the stored product, ventilation and cooling applications in crop storage, short and long-term storage of fresh fruits and vegetables, shelf life, dried crop storage
