Course Goal / Objective

The overall objective of this course is to have students gain the knowledge, skills and attitudes regarding psychological counseling.

Course Content

The content course includes these topics: Counseling process and characteristics, differences among psychotherapy, counseling and guidance concepts, counseling principles and techniques, Essential helping skills and skills related with therapeutic conditions, stages in the individual helping process and the clients experience in counseling, coping skills of transference, countertransference in counseling process, coping skills with resistance.
