Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to introduce students the relationship between Turkey and the United States starting with the Ottoman Empire period. By focusing on the political, social, economic and cultural ties, this course aims to present a multi-dimensional picture of the bilateral relations.

Course Content

This course covers the US-Turkey relations since the beginning of the 1800. It focuses on economic, political, social and cultural relations by providing cases and examples.
