Course Goal / Objective

In this lesson, it is aimed that the students comprehend the scientific reasoning skills, recognize the instruments to measure scientific reasoning skills and learn how to use scientific reasoning skills in inquiry-based learning environments.

Course Content

What is scientific reasoning; Scientific reasonig skills (conservation, proportional reasoning, control of variables, probabilistic reasoning, correlational reasoning, hypotetical deductive reasoning), measuring scientific reasoning skills, scientific reasoning and inquiry-based learning
