Course Goal / Objective

Basic concepts, history and methods of child psychology; prenatal development; developmental areas and characteristics of infancy; early childhood development areas and characteristics; recent childhood development areas and characteristics; child within the family structure; child within the school system; childhood adjustment and behavior problems; Gain information about children with special needs.

Course Content

This course; Subject, History and Method of Child Psychology Examination of Development, Development in the prenatal period, development in the postnatal period Development in infancy, Early Childhood Development, Late Childhood Development, Self, Gender and Gender Roles, Child Sexual Development and Education, Development of Social Relations-Family, It covers the topics of Development of Social Relations-School, Development of Social Relations-The effects of wider culture, Atypical development.
