Course Goal / Objective
To learn and understand the basic concepts and information related materials science for fisheries applications. Introducing the building materials used in agricultural construction and giving the chemical-physical properties, teaching the production techniques and technologies, purpose and properties of building materials, analyzing the problems caused by building materials and provide students to choose the most suitable material for a specific purpose.
Course Content
Introduction, selection and classification of structure materials, identification and general properties of structure materials, physical and chemical properties of structure materials, wood and wooden products, stones, clay-derived materials, mud brick, brick, soil structure materials and usage areas, types of mortar and mortar element / binding materials, paintings and glass materials, cement, concrete and reinforced concrete, concrete material production and using, metal materials, plastics, protection and structure insulation materials, building materials used in agricultural structures, the introduction of general structure elements (foundation, walls, roof, windows, doors, etc.), determination of material needs in the structures
