Course Goal / Objective
In the context of the basic concepts of Dramaturgy Pottery, the aim is to review the plays called Andros Beauty, Everymen, Macbeth, Hamlet, Pheidra, Hernani, Cryno de Bergerac, Emilia Galotti, Nora-A Doll's House, Miss Julie, Cherry Orchard, Ghosts Sonata in terms of content and style, and by this way determine the status and importance of these plays and these authors in the theatre thought appeared in this period.
Course Content
Four great tragedy of Shakespeare: Hamlet, Macbeth, King Lear, Othello. Naturalism and Realism: Henrik Ibsen, August Strindberg, and Anton Chekhov's play. Expressionism and Surrealism: August Strindberg, Georg Büchner, and Alfred Jarry games.
