Course Goal

The aim of this course is to introduce the world of retailing from a managerial perspective to the student and to enable them to understand the structure and operation of retailing and the strategies used by retailers.

Course Content

Students examine retailer types, omnichannel retailing, consumer purchasing behavior, retail marketing strategies, retail location selection, supply chain management, merchandising, pricing, store management, store layout and design, and digital retailing at a national and international level.
