Course Goal / Objective

Gaining knowledge on clothing and fashion by studying the history and the evolution of clothes

Course Content

The history of clothing and fashion in the late 19th and 20th centuries will be examined. To examine the change of clothing throughout history. To evaluate the development of clothing in the history of art and textile; to interpret today's clothes in a historical dimension. To evaluate the clothing development of different cultures.
