Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce the features, representatives and works of the 17th century Old Turkish Literature, based on sample texts.

Course Content

At this course 17th Century Ottoman Literature and the styles seen in the literature of this period, sample texts from the poets and poems of the 17th century Ottoman field, 17th century Ottoman field masnavis are studied.
