Course Goal / Objective
To make cross-section calculations of the bearing elements of reinforced concrete structures in environmental engineering.
Course Content
Dimensioning and reinforcement of structural load-bearing elements, columns, beams, slabs, etc.
Course Precondition
To have taken the Static Strength course.

LO03 | ILearns the material behavior of concrete and steel and their shape changes against stresses. Calculates the cross-sectional dimensions and the amount of reinforcement by the method of bearing capacity of the columns. |
LO04 | Learns beams as bearing elements and section calculation in single reinforced beams. Learns cross-section calculation with bearing force method in double-reinforced beams. |
LO05 | Slab types and slab slab section calculation. Learns rectangular or square slab slab sizing and reinforcement calculation. |
