Course Goal / Objective
The aim of the course is to teach biological diversity and nature conservation approaches.
Course Content
Meaning and importance of biological diversity, Distribution of biological diversity, Biodiversity centers, Threats arising from the loss of biological diversity, Measurement and indicators of biological diversity, IUCN Criteria, Biodiversity in Turkey, Biodiversity and Global warming, Nature conservation approaches, Sustainability.
