Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to introduce the glyptic art of the 6th-3rd millennium BC in Mesopotamia in terms of form, subject, style and iconography.
Course Content
The definition of glyptic, its areas of use, the materials used in seal making, seal making techniques and Mesopotamian glyptic art from the beginning until the end of the 3rd millennium BC are explained.
