Course Goal

This course aims to analyze and simulate whole semiconductor fabrication processes from the substrate to the final device, chip, and layout design at an introductory level, learn various computer-aided analog and digital circuits simulations, design and realize a printed circuit board, and get a prototype PCB circuit.

Course Content

Characteristics of 3A-5A group elements in the periodic table, microfabrication processes of semiconductor devices such as crystal wafer fabrication, diffusion, oxidation, epitaxy methods, lithography, ion implantation, etching, and metallization. Design, layout, and simulation of a chip and integrated circuit. AC, DC, time domain, sweep, and parametric analyzes of electronic circuits. Optimization, minimization, shielding, and grounding methods for printed circuit boards.
