Course Goal / Objective
To teach the introduction and application methods of the surface treatments applied to the furniture and decoration elements produced with wood material. It is aimed to introduce the types of decoration techniques and how they are made, to teach how and from which materials paint and varnish are produced.

Recognition of surface treatments and their purposes. Effect of glue and resin stains on surface treatments. Preparation of wood materials for surface treatments and coloring operations. Tree dyes, protective layer
