Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to familiarize students with the basic concepts of sociology, to learn basic topics, to gain an analytical and critical perspective, to gain the ability to evaluate phenomena with sociological imagination.

Course Content

This course is an introduction to the basic concepts and principles of the discipline of sociology. It covers different theoretical approaches and research findings representing the macro and microanalytical traditions of sociology.
