Course Goal

By recognizing the concepts related to measurement and evaluation in education and training, learns how to use valid, reliable and useful measurement techniques in measurement, knows how to use statistical methods related to measurement results.

Course Content

Concepts related to measurement and evaluation in education, validity and reliability in measurement, measurement techniques, statistical procedures related to measurement and evaluation, measurement of affective domain behaviors, measurement of psycho-motor behaviors and performance evaluation, question preparation techniques.

Course Precondition

To be aware of the basic concepts and educational philosophies covered in the Introduction to Educational Sciences course, to know how the basic elements of the curriculum and the objectives/aims of the curriculum covered in the scope of Curriculum Development are classified in vertical and horizontal dimensions.
