Course Goal / Objective
To teach what a map is and the simple measurement methods used in the cartography profession.
Course Content
Map and scale, Simple measuring tools, Horizontal length measurement, Oblique length measurement, Creating a measurement line, Creating a triangle in the field, Simple angle measurement, Calculating area from measurements, Editing a dimension sketch
