Course Goal

The general aim of this course is for pre-service teachers to gain knowledge and understanding about the elements of the education program, the stages and principles of effective teaching, and teaching strategy methods and techniques, and to prepare and implement an activity plan that requires the use of these knowledge-skills

Course Content

Basic concepts of teaching principles and methods; teaching-learning principles, models, strategies, methods and techniques; setting goals and objectives in teaching; content selection and arrangement in teaching and learning; teaching materials; instructional planning and instructional plans; theories and approaches to teaching; effective school teaching, learning and success in learning; evaluation of classroom learning.

Course Precondition

To have taken the field knowledge and vocational knowledge courses in the 1., 2. and 3. semesters
