Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to introduce Social Documentary photography, to give students the ability to make presentations using powerpoint, to bring a documentary photography project to life.
Course Content
In this class, 1-It starts with introducing the types of Documentary Photography. 2-Emphasis is placed on Social Documentary Photography. 3-The history of documentary photography is told. 4-Contemporary Social Documentary photographers are introduced. 5-Students are asked to make a biographical presentation of a documentary photographer they like. 6-The student is given a documentary photography project and is allowed to take pictures in the field. 7-Photo reading lessons. 8-Storytelling is taught through photography. 9-Contact information is taught when doing a photography project. 10-The importance of photography in communication and sociology is explained. 11-Missing information in basic photography tutorials is completed.
