Course Goal

To teach fertilization programs for high productivity and product quality in horticultural crops, with the subjects of uptake, transport, storage, use in metabolic processes, enrichment of the soil with nutrients, antagonistic and synergistic interactions of mineral elements with each other.

Course Content

Introduction and intake of nutrients, principles of transport in phloem and xylem, indication of deficiency and excess symptoms, nutrition, fertilization and fertigation programs in horticultural species.
