Course Goal / Objective
The main aim of this course is to increase the health literacy levels of the students.
Course Content
This course; Health literacy, basic concepts, Health literacy as the main determinant of health, Mass communication and critical health literacy, Empowerment of patients and health literacy, Access to health information, Health and nutrition literacy, Health and nutrition literacy, Health literacy from the eyes of the health journalist, In terms of women's health Health literacy, Health literacy for active aging, Cultural factors affecting health literacy, Mobile health and health literacy, Evaluation of health literacy in terms of health expenditures and health services, Health literacy studies in the world and in our country.
