Course Goal

The purpose of this internship is to train students who have grasped the diagnosis and treatment algorithms of common diseases, have the knowledge to guide the patient, and have developed the ability to apply the necessary medical interventions.

Course Content

Within the scope of this internship; Observation of outpatient clinic practices in internal medicine departments, preparation, monitoring and presentation of service patients' files, discussion and evaluation of frequently used laboratory and imaging techniques, bedside visit training, theoretical lectures.

LO01 Can list possible diagnoses and make differential diagnosis, comprehend the diagnosis and treatment algorithm of common internal diseases.
LO02 Can explain the physiopathology and mechanisms of common internal diseases by synthesizing the information learned in the first 3 years
