Course Goal / Objective
It is aimed to give general information about media journalism to students and to teach students how to make news in mass media.
Course Content
In this course; The concept and importance of the media, Functions of the media, The concept and scope of news in the media, Types of news, News gathering methods and news sources, The actors that manage the news process, The three components of the news, The qualities of the news, The basic elements of the news, The news writing process, The headline and news entries in the news, Information about news writing techniques in the media, the concept of social media and journalism will be tried to be explained.
