Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course; To gain theoretical knowledge about distance education. To introduce distance education systems, to provide the necessary knowledge and skills for the production and evaluation of distance education course contents.

Definitions of distance education, benefits and limitations of distance education, application models, theories, technologies used in distance education, Internet schools and virtual classrooms, student and content support systems in distance education: lms, cms; Examples of universities providing distance education services, new trends in distance education, future technologies in distance education
