Course Goal / Objective
The aim of the course is to understand the economic rationale of state intervention, which occurs when market processes cannot provide economic efficiency, as predicted by neo-classical economic theory, and to reveal the effects of state regulatory interventions on the economy by analyzing economic regulation theories in this context.
Course Content
The course includes a theoretical analysis of how the economic efficiency that cannot be achieved in case of market failures will be regulated under the regulatory state model and in which areas competition is possible.
