Course Goal / Objective
This course is designed to explore the concept of evaluation and its various meanings, to review the historical development of curriculum evaluation as a discipline, to provide students with perspectives on some of the current controversies and trends in the field, and to familiarize them with many different methods and approaches to evaluation.

This course includes the following subjects: The basic purpose, uses, and conceptual features of evaluation Origins and current trends in modern curriculum evaluation Alternative approach to curriculum evaluation Practical guidelines for planning evaluation
