Course Goal

Tapestry works and its use as an element of artistic expression, understanding the importance of tapestry in the process of the formation of fiber art. Examining and evaluating international tapestry and fiber art studies made in the past and present, and criticizing them in terms of expression, production techniques, materials. Examining the possibilities of presenting the work in the place or natural environment. To provide information about the principle, concept and scope of production techniques.

Course Content

This course includes information about contemporary tapestry art, examination of applied examples, literature research on historical process, technique, material and realization of application studies including artistic expressions.
